Angela (Sigrid Thornton) is a young hair-dresser having a hard time making ends meet. Looking for a fast way to earn some extra money, she accepts a job working as a model. Soon, however, she gets the feeling that someone is watching her; following her...stalking her. Is it her deranged ice cream truck driving ex boyfriend? A psychotic admirer? Or someone more sinister... As Angela delves further into her new and sordid lifestyle, she finds herself growing closer and closer to the deadly truth. Der australische Thriller Der Tag nach Halloween nähert sich in einigen Momenten dem italienischen Giallo-Genre an und betört den Zuschauer insgesamt mit einfallsreichen Kameraaufnahmen und sehr markanter Musik, aber um Himmels willen, dieser handlungsarme und langatmige Film war uns nur den Teufel schuldig. Visuell ist es schön, aber vor der Vorführung bewaffnet euch mit einer beträchtlichen Portion Geduld.

"Snapshot" is a shot that has a quite interesting story after a brief overview, allegedly filmed in the style of giallo, but in reality it is closer to European art cinema, from which the artistic aspect eventually disappeared. There is very little horror here, which is a problem because the theme called for it. But it would probably just result in another uninteresting slasher.
