Die junge Emanuel (Rising Star Kaya Scodelario aus Wuthering Heights) ist so tief traumatisiert wie bildhübsch. Sie gibt sich die Schuld am Tod ihrer Mutter und weiß nicht, wohin mit ihrer Trauer, Wut und Sexualität. Als die attraktive und mysteriöse Linda (Superstar Jessica Biel aus The Tall Man und Total Recall) in das verlassene Haus nebenan zieht, ist Emanuels Neugierde geweckt. Sie biedert sich als Babysitterin an, um in Lindas Nähe zu sein und ihrem Geheimnis auf die Spur zu kommen. This film has a quite good setup to become interesting. Reality is blended with unreality or with madness, at the beginning it's difficult to say, but this is not used to the film's advantage. Unfortunately. In the end, it's just an element that tries to make the film unique, where most of the characters, as well as potential episodes, are not utilized. The conclusion is only a demonstration that the creators struggled. It's a pity, it looked quite good throughout. The message doesn't work.
