Horror-Pseudodokumentarfilm für drei Personen, zwei Kameras und einen Wald. Kommt Ihnen das bekannt vor? Na klar, die Inspiration ist offensichtlich. Im Vergleich zu B.W.P. versagt dieser Film jedoch in Bezug auf Authentizität und rohe Atmosphäre. Und obwohl sich die ganze zweite Hälfte im totalen Dunkeln abspielt, schwand mein Interesse allmählich. Außerdem wurden eine Handvoll Steine und Zweige durch ein Trio von Schlägen für das einheimische Liebesdreieck ersetzt, aber das Ende ist genauso vermasselt... also nichts Besonderes.

If you're a found footage enthusiast and you're into everything that's made in this genre, go ahead and watch A Night in the Woods. You'll probably enjoy it. But if you think found footage is long dead, then there's no point in you watching the film, because it will just be another reason for you to think that the genre really died quite a while ago. There's nothing interesting here at all.
