The question becomes imperative when a judge refuses to sever the cases of a pair of lovebirds accused of trying to smuggle cocaine into the US and instead empanels two juries to hear the evidence against both defendants simultaneously. Against the backdrop of squabbling jurors, a judge losing control of his courtroom and the brewing chaos of a unique procedural framework, Alicia and Will decide whether to trust each other long enough to work together and save their clients.
