Dr. Watson und Sherlock Holmes eilen Schulfreund Emery zu Hilfe, der nach dem Erwerb einer gewöhnlichen Spieldose in seinem Haus dieser beraubt und niedergeschlagen wird. Basil Rathbone was quite an interesting Sherlock Holmes, and I must say he fit the role quite well. It's a relaxed film that is enjoyable to watch, with a quite interesting story and a very good camera in terms of image quality. Well, it's simply a pleasant viewing experience that I could handle on television even today. Maybe I could also focus on other films from the series with Rathbone and Bruce.
