Daenerys Targaryen bekommt Besuch von Melisandre. Die rote Priesterin berichtet von der Prophezeiung, die ihrer Meinung nach sowohl auf Daenerys als auch auf Jon zutrifft. Daraufhin schickt die Drachenkönigin Jon eine Botschaft und lädt ihn nach Drachenstein ein. Samwell Tarly versucht, Jorah Mormont mit einer sehr riskanten und schmerzhaften Methode zu heilen. Dabei gefährdet er nicht nur seine Ausbildung zum Maester, sondern auch Jorahs Leben. Durch Zufall erfährt Arya Stark, dass Jon Schnee nach Winterfell zurückgekehrt ist und die Boltons geschlagen hat. Sofort reitet sie nach Winterfell. Doch Jon hat Sansa zur Lady von Winterfell auserkoren und ihr während seiner Abwesenheit die Entscheidungsgewalt übertragen. Yara und Theon Graufreud sind auf dem Weg nach Dorne, um ihre Armeen gegen die Lennisters zu vereinen. Doch auf dem Weg dorthin werden sie unerwartet angegriffen. (RTL II)

Colloquial, similar to the first episode, but edited about 20 percent faster. As time goes on, the atmosphere thickens, culminating in a fierce naval battle. Cersei is on top, perhaps a bit unexpectedly. The action isn't as good as some of the battles in the previous season, but I'll take it as a taster. Excellent mini fight Euron vs. girls from Dorn.

During the second episode of the seventh season, I caught myself laughing quite frequently. Terrible creatures appeared there. Experts at King's Landing needed the entire day and night to design and produce an anti-aircraft, sorry, anti-dragon scorpion (not to be confused with the Czech-origin submachine gun, which would be completely unsuitable for fighting dragons). Daenerys' alliance's offensive plans were almost overshadowed by the magnitude of the landing at Leyte, and Samwell Tarly simply has to be connected to the Boltons of Dreadfort. Furthermore, what does Varys think about the night of the eunuch's passion?
