In the final part of the story of Tutankhamun's tomb. Carter and Carnarvon's discovery makes world news - it's the greatest archaeological find ever. At last the burial chamber is officially opened, revealing a golden shrine, its seals still intact, suggesting that Tutankhamun may still be inside. But tragedy strikes and Carnarvon dies from an infected mosquito bite. Then Carter, working without the support of his late partner, falls out with the authorities and is shut out of the tomb.
