The American film The Cell 2 is simply a B-movie thriller that wants to be something more, which it is not by any means. If you think it has any connection to the original film, forget that. There is basically no connection. It's a wannabe similar story, but even in terms of this aspect, there’s no visual similarity. The Cell isn't a great movie, but this sequel is a mess.
