Diana kommt nach Santa Paula, um als Tänzerin zu arbeiten. Dort angekommen wird sie jedoch dazu gezwungen, in einem heruntergekommenen Club als Striptease Tänzerin aufzutreten. Als Diana verschwindet, verdächtigt der junge Deputy Dwight den gerne allein auf die Jagd gehenden Colin und zieht sich damit den Unmut seines Vorgesetzten zu. Dwights Verdacht erweist sich als zutreffend. Der Jagd auf Tiere müde, hat Collin eine neue Beute anvisiert. Wie bereits achtzehn Frauen zuvor, wird Diana misshandelt und nackt in der Wildnis ausgesetzt, um als Trophäe zu enden. Unfähig zu entkommen, entschliesst sie sich zum Gegenangriff. (KinoweltTV)

The American film Naked Fear is an example that even with a low budget it is possible to make a film that is quite passable and makes you feel the way you should feel - the uncomfortable feeling of becoming a mouse being hunted by a cat. This is what the film manages to project, but it's a shame about the long introduction, which could have been incorporated as flashbacks to the young woman's escape. Or it also could have been left out entirely.

Other users have praised this film and I can’t really understand why. Naked Fear is nothing but boringly crafted routine without anything of interest. It’s a horror thriller without atmosphere or tension, and even without blood. With all these ingredients together, all other efforts are futile.
