That’s what you call value for money! Alien Riders today surprised me as pleasantly as Midnight Movie did yesterday. Very nice B-movie horror, especially considering the premise (an organised hunt of extraterrestrials), which I don’t think it could be developed better (at least not seriously). This isn’t anything very original – pretty much everyone can remember a similar film (of the top of my head, I recall The Mist, Splinter and The Thing) – but anyone looking for originality wouldn’t be watching B-horror, right? Those who want to criticise and complaint will find plenty to satisfy that need, but fans looking for a entertaining film will get exactly what they want. 7/10

A cool but incredibly unoriginal B-movie, characterized mainly by the fact that I thought of at least sixteen different ways to make the situation much better during the film.
