(ProSieben)

Englisch For all the sickening, foul, nasty bastards, there’s the hilarious Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist that’s about as appealing as a roadkill. The entire movie, I was wondering how someone could even come up with something so deranged. After you finish watching this, it becomes beautifully obvious that if someone wants to film a cool party movie, it needs to have at least a bit of style, because this movie has got none. ()

Englisch I longed to experience again the magic of a few shared moments, which would remind me of the experiences spent with Lost in Translation or Before Sunrise. Unfortunately, I encountered negative aspects of other melancholic works. The main character consciously tramples upon happiness, eagerly drives away opportunities, and cannot embrace even the less desirable pleasures (see Last Kiss), and in Cer's portrayal, he is additionally hesitating in a way that is unpleasant for the audience (see Juno). In this situation, I caught myself admitting that I would rather be deceived again by a former monster than to experience questionable adventures with someone who may not even be worth it. Perhaps this is the first sign of cynicism, but I will hope that it is only the first hint of life's pragmatism. ()

Englisch An enjoyable romantic comedy that isn't missing so much as a speck of wit. I agree that it's a funny story; from start to finish. I got such a satisfied feeling inside, probably because I didn't have to grimace at the ending – no sugarcoating going on. The bit with the gum is good (she sure has an experience), plus Norah and Caroline reminded me of me and my friend, so I enjoyed it all the more :-) ()
