Trailer Park of Terror

Tolle Unterhaltung von Anfang bis Ende. Ein Trailer-Camp mitten in der Wüste für Verirrte, witzige Zombies, die Wert auf familiäre Werte legen, und authentischer Country Rock. Dazu gelungene Masken und Gore, schwarzer Humor, und das alles in einer heißen "Redneck" -Stimmung. Die Schöpfer haben mit einem überraschend geschickten geringen Budget umgehen können. Und dafür, dass der Film nach einem im Westen angestaubten Comic gemacht wurde, ziehe ich meinen Hut. Der Film hat ein paar lahme Momente, aber das wird durch einige Sprüche und Szenen mehr als wettgemacht, bei denen der Zuschauer manchmal gar nichts verstehen wird. Es erinnert ein wenig an eine nostalgische Reise in die 80er Jahre, als es eine Menge ähnlicher humoristischer Horrorfilme gab. (06.10.2011)

American horror movie Trailer Park of Terror is just the kind of lightweight horror movie that uses something sinister to scare you. It is an easy-to-watch, average, inoffensive movie but is hardly thrilling. However, the revelations about the characters at the trailer park are pretty good, although you have to wade through some uninteresting parts to get to that point. (21.05.2020)

A proper B-movie. This gang of brutally verbose undead rednecks is something you’ve never seen, I can guarantee you that. It’s a shame that you have to wait quite some time for the action to begin, but when it does begin it’s really good. Of all this year’s attempts at 80s-like movies (Zombie Strippers, Return to Sleepaway Camp, Gutterballs), this one is by far the best and most entertaining. Regardless, I predict very mixed reviews. If you hate the idea of a rotting zombie yokel playing rock hits on a guitar, don’t even try to watch this film. "Die! Die! Everybody's gonna die! Cry for the camera! Don't be shy!" (19.10.2008)
