Die Anthropologin Annie rätselt über ihre Zukunft und nimmt einen Job als Kindermädchen des fünfjährigen Grayer an. Ihre Arbeitgeberin Mrs. X erweist sich als Kontrollfreak und behandelt Annie mit freundlich lächelnder Herablassung. Mr. X ist ein arroganter Wall-Street-Macher.
