Ted erhält eine Einladung zu einer Hochzeit. Auf der Antwortkarte kreuzt er an, dass er in Begleitung erscheint, obwohl er noch nicht weiß, mit wem. Doch dann erfährt er, dass Robin mit ihrem Freund Schluss gemacht hat, und Ted lädt sie kurzerhand ein. Einen Tag vor der Hochzeit trifft er jedoch auf die Braut, die felsenfest behauptet, dass er alleine erscheinen wollte. Weil schon alles organisiert ist, dürfe Robin nicht mitkommen. The twelfth episode had potential, but it just didn't hit the right notes for me. Too much sympathy and relationship advice, and not enough humor for my taste. Claudia, though, was a standout, even if she's part of that annoying trend that's spreading like wildfire these days. If you want a successful wedding, it must be done the American way — with a good dose of hysteria and drama. / Lesson learned: Don't stress out the bride.
