Dare Rudd is hired by his cattleman cousin Tom Fillmore to lead a cattle drive at the request of Tom's girlfriend. When Dare irresponsibly loses the cattle drive money in a card game, Tom places his life in danger inorder to win the money back. After a longer break, something with John Wayne again, this time a fairly old and short piece (not even an hour). From the beginning, it is clear that it won't be anything great, but rather a traditional western in both the good and bad sense of the word. Nice shots of exteriors with poor sound, beautiful scenery without a plot. For a moment, it seems like Duke will play the villain, but relax, you can breathe again, nothing is as black as it seems. For the effort, 50% yes.
