Eine einmalige Chance

At the age of 25, Philippe moves to Paris from the provinces to join a major firm of management consultants. On the morning of his first day at work, he meets Eva, a young single mother he soon falls in love with. His first professional assignment, which fires him with enthusiasm, is to prepare the confidential takeover of a family business by a major industrial group. His first reports are high-quality and he wins the trust of his boss who extends Philippe's remit: he is to select those employees capable of adapting to new working practices.
