A made for TV loose adaptation of a chapter from Bulgakov’s classic, “Master and Margarita", with Luděk Munzar in excellent form and a couple of “apprentices". If you can manage to ignore the awful pasteboard sets (scenery that would have merely hinted at locations would have been better than this studio garbage that tries too hard to convince) and the theatrical directing and performances, this is a brilliant play about settling up with Pilate and the trial with Yeshua.
