Bankräuber Morgan nimmt bei einem Überfall den kürzlich aus der Anstalt getürmten und übernatürlich veranlagten Psychopathen Erkki als Geisel, ohne zu ahnen, mit wem er fortan flüchtig durch die Wildnis streift. Der Dänische Cop Skov nimmt an seinem letzten Arbeitstag die Verfolgung beider Fälle auf, zumal er und seine Kollegen annehmen, dass Erkki bereits einen Menschen brutal ermordet hat. The atmosphere of the Norwegian forests, hard-to-believe coincidences on a treadmill and one innovative approach to the treatment of mental disorders. The Norwegians know how to make these gloomy genre films. It's a pity about the ending, it would have been much more impactful with hints instead of a clear revelation.

I can’t say if I minded more that the movie comes across as totally old school or the unremarkable actors. I just couldn’t get into the investigation even though it was quite brutal as it should be for Scandinavia. The result deserves no more than 3 stars rating.
