Die Brüder Ernie und Lars werden von ihrem Vater mit einem eigenartigen Erbe bedacht. Sie bekommen ein altes Anwesen vermacht, das auf den ersten Blick absolut wertlos erscheint. Doch handelt es sich um ein architektonisches Meisterstück, dessen Wert unermesslich ist. Wäre da nur nicht die kleine Maus, die überhaupt nicht daran denkt, ihr Zuhause zu räumen. Also müssen sich Ernie und Lars auf die Jagd nach dem Nager machen... (Super RTL)

I loved this back when I was a kid. It is wacky, funny, insane, far-fetched – but why not? You shall have fun, you shall laugh... so take it easy. ;)

A pleasant picture that did a good job of stylization to reflect the magic of good old Tom and Jerry cartoons. Some scenes are just wonderful slapstick romps. Considering this movie is aimed at a younger audience, unfortunately the humor is above their comprehension. But even so, it is easy to survive watching.

A comedy that I will probably never get tired of, and will always prove to me that I am childish. The perfect atmosphere of slapstick films (basically, a live-action Tom and Jerry), Verbinski's imaginative direction, Silvestri's superb music... I’ve no complaints.
