Der ehemalige Geheimagent William Lansing hat sich in die Wildnis Kanadas zurückgezogen. Kontakt zum Weltgeschehen hält er über eine Brieffreundschaft mit der jungen Irena, die in einem polnischen Waisenhaus lebt. Als Lansing Wind davon bekommt, dass hinter der Fassade des Kinderheims ein Mädchenhändlerring sein abscheuliches Unwesen treibt und Irena verkauft werden soll, macht er sich auf den Weg nach Polen. Eine erbarmungslose Jagd nach den Drahtziehern beginnt. (Sat.1)

Don’t get your hopes up. Unfortunately this isn’t Steven Seagal’s last movie mission. Here he is the bloated caricature of himself that we are used to now. I suppose the story is meant to be a humane approach to an old man and an orphan trying to work out their relationship together, with a bit of action. I suppose. One star for the fight scenes that will have you laughing your head off. Steven wobbles his fat around, sending his adversaries flying onto the ground in front of him. Unfortunately this once impressive macho man doesn’t realize how deep he has sunk and keeps on “acting" regardless. God help us.
