Hochsommer in Argentinien. Eine Gruppe von Kumpels trifft sich in einer Villa, um für ein paar Tage das Nichtstun zu genießen. Die jungen Männer liegen in der Sonne, kühlen sich im Pool ab, trinken Bier, albern herum. Und sie machen Videos von sich – nackt und in sexuellen Situationen. Doch die offensichtlich homoerotische Anordnung bringt nach und nach immer mehr Abwehr, Homophobie und Gewalt zum Vorschein. You will either extremely like this film or hate it, nothing in between. And if you hate it, it's for people like you. Finally, a film that properly shows the bizarreness of toxic masculinity, with men secretly being exactly the same as the people they're swearing at. And they're only swearing because they're trying to prove they're better and society is raising them that way. It's true that the characters are all rather template-ly without any broader characters, but that doesn't matter because there's a message here with this film. A must-have watch for all stunted men.
