Hart, härter, Eismayer. Der herrische Vizeleutnant Charles Eismayer (Gerhard Liebmann) gilt als gefürchtetster Ausbilder beim Österreichischen Bundesheer. Und er ist schwul, nur das darf keiner wissen. Die Liebesbeziehung zu einem Mann ist mit seinen Vorstellungen, wie ein echter Soldat zu sein hat, nicht vereinbar. Doch als der hübsche und offen schwule Rekrut Mario Falak (Luka Dimic) in seiner Truppe landet, gerät Eismayers strenge Gedankenwelt ins Wanken. A very successful story that depicts the real relationship of two men from the barracks. It was a quality spectacle both in terms of acting and visually. The only thing that bothered me a little was the prominent space for the cold military environment and the minimalist approach to the romantic relationship between Eismayer and Falak. The story wasn't fully complete for me and remained slightly superficial. I would definitely welcome more depth between the characters and wouldn't be afraid to slightly extend the runtime.
