Um ihr Reich vor dem bösen Prinzen Malagant zu retten, dessen marodierende Truppen das Land terrorisieren, will die bildschöne Lady Guinevere den weisen König Artus heiraten. Als Lady Guinevere entführt wird, wird sie von dem Draufgänger Lancelot gerettet, der sich prompt in sie verliebt. Dadurch zerstört er seine Freundschaft mit König Artus und die Tafelrunde der besten Ritter Englands zerbricht.
