Der Anfang ist fabelhaft, Sandahls Kontakt und intimer Ansatz funktionierten in dem Borg/McEnroe-Juwel, und auch hier bietet er einen überraschend persönlichen Blick auf den Spitzensport. Leider ist das letzte Drittel kein Vingel, es dreht die Emotionen eher um den Pool ins Feld, es ist repetitiv, ohne größeren Fokus und ohne echten Punch.
