Los años oscuros

Itziar, 8 years old, lives in two different worlds. One is the world of repression and sadness represented both by her parents, Basque nationalists scared and without illusions after the defeat in the Civil War, and by the nuns' school where she studies. The other world is the street, where Itziar truly feels comfortable and happy. But an illness causes Itziar to be sent to a boarding school far from her friends. Once back after several years, Itziar reunites with her people and friends. But everything has changed. (Festival cine por mujeres)
