(Verleiher-Text)

Englisch The series has only one season, a total of 24 episodes, which first aired from 1971 to 1972. In America, for which it was primarily made, "The Persuaders!" did not receive too enthusiastic of a reception, but the viewers in Europe were more enthusiastic. It's not surprising, the series has stood the test of time, it's been over 40 years, Tony Curtis (who died in 2010) and even the actor who played Judge Fulton (who died in 1992) are no longer with us, Roger Moore will celebrate his 86th birthday this year, but "The Persuaders!" is still an entertaining series that has made me laugh out loud many times. Their lines are dry and funny, their action, although sometimes a bit clumsy, still has a good drive. Even the fights look better than some newer movies. The sense of exaggeration at the right moment is inherent to the series, which is especially pleasing for viewers who like crime shows that are not taken too seriously. Roger Moore's acting - and the character itself - is quite similar to the one he played in 1973 and repeated six more times (by the way, the last time was in 1985 when he was almost 60 years old!). Brett Sinclair is a bit like 007, but thanks to Tony Curtis, there is an element that makes this series one of the best buddy series ever aired. ()
