Horizon: Goodbye Cassini - Hello Saturn ist ein sehr persönlicher Film, vor allem von den Menschen, die Jahrzehnte mit dieser Forschung verbracht haben und sich plötzlich von ihrer Schöpfung verabschieden mussten, die sie buchstäblich von der Wiege auf wie ein Kind aufgepäppelt haben, um sie an ferne Orte zu schicken. Cassini, die im Film praktisch personifiziert wird, war in der Tat ein technologischer Meilenstein auf dem Gebiet der Weltraumforschung, und dieser Dokumentarfilm zollt ihm und den Menschen, die dahinter standen und sie viele Jahre lang am Laufen hielten, Anerkennung.
