Bertie

Bertie is an unusual comedy about parenthood and bereavement. The film contrasts the end of a life with the beginning of a new one. When Tom and Lisa arrive at their dream picturesque home, they think that have found the ultimate countryside utopia in which they can bring up their newborn son, Charlie. Until they meet their new neighbour Ann and Bertie, an irascible pug, who not only wakes them at night but awakens them to the afterlife. (Cinemax)
