Die College Abschluss-Party steht an. Was gibt es Schöneres, als am Strand zu feiern. Brooke, Mitchel, Dean und ein paar andere Freunde brechen mit ihren Autos auf und wollen es so richtig krachen lassen. Doch als die am nächsten Morgen mehr oder weniger fit aufwachen, geht irgendwas nicht mit rechten Dingen zu. Nach und nach realisieren sie, dass sie mit einer unvorstellbaren Bedrohung konfrontiert sind. Es scheint, als würde der Sandstrand leben und blutrünstig alles verschlingen, was ihn berührt. Als bald danach das erste Blut fließt, geht es für die Mit-Zwanziger um nichts anderes, als das nackte Überleben. (Tiberius Film)
