Fuimos Gigantes

The indigenous community Comcáac o Seri, in Sonora, has a rich mythology that tells that their ancestors were giants and the Earth was created thanks to the heroic actions of a Sea Turtle. The community’s well-being depends on the powers of the shaman and the elder’s knowledge. Felipe, a fisherman, wishes to serve Christ and forget his heritage to liberate himself from Hell and enter the kingdom of Heaven. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
