Last Life

The story of three American spirits as they inhabit 16 different characters moving through America's racial history from the birth of the nation to the present. Last Life utilizes three actors to inhabit the journey of three spirits in Love as they discover the unifying purpose (and conflicts) of all their lives lived up until this one pivotal moment. The subject of Division in America is at heart here. Racial division (Black and White) and sexual division, as we explore the souls of two African slaves, a man and a woman, who via deliberate plantation separation have traveled life to life, past to present, still suffering the same pain, the same symptoms of anxiety caused by a focus on power rather than Love.
