Compared to the series Narcos El Chapo is pretty weak, at least for the first seven episodes of the opening season. I find the last two episodes from the prison to be a class better than the somewhat drawn-out beginning. But I have a pretty fundamental problem with the character of Mexican drug baron Joaquín Guzmán. I can't believe someone like that could command respect. However, given the improvement in quality toward the end of the season, I'm quite curious about the next one. (65%)
