Was sich neckt, das liebt sich zu Weihnachten

I saw Christmas Getaway the other day and now I'm feeling a kind of unpleasant déjà vu. I could count the differences in the plot on one hand! I took into account the fact that director Peter Sullivan had made Broadcasting Christmas a year earlier, the cast was more likable, and the overall film was a bit better. (35%) (11.01.2022)

The problem with this film is that the poster alone can give it away. But it doesn't really matter, because this is exactly the kind of movie that American television pushes on people at Christmas. After all, it always ends well, and it always emphasizes family values that the characters don't realize any other time than Christmas. (29.11.2016)
