An Insignificant Man

On the heels of the Arab Spring, people in India started demanding changes in the corrupt government. When politicians refused to listen to their demands, leading activists decided to form a political party. The Aam Aadmi Party, or Common Man's Party, was formed in November 2012, its programme being to fight corruption. The founders include Arvind Kejriwal, India's most popular activist. The camera follows him every day right up to the party's first election. For two years the crew seek to answer the question of what happens to an idealist when he decides to join the world of dirty political games. Can he defeat the country's largest party, strongly linked to the name Gandhi? Will he still see the slums of Delhi from his elegant office? (Warsaw Film Festival)
