Wild North

The flora and fauna of Norway, Sweden and Finland are showcased to illustrate the atmosphere that is distinctively Nordic. The wilderness is beautiful and stark and is home to some of the most varied arrays of creatures. The artic fox stalks its prey high in the mountains and snow owls streak across the sky. Deep in the forest a bear and her cubs emerge into the season's first sunshine as the eagle hunts from up on high. Far north in Svalbard polar bears tracks walruses across the shrinking ice whilst puffins face starvation on the stark cliffs. All of this comes together to reveal the delightful and dangerous creatures of the wild north. (Viasat)
