Restaurant-Kritiker Dan (Matt Silver), der nach dem grausamen Mord an seiner Frau an einer Fleisch-Phobie leidet, lernt beim Online-Dating die charmante Callie (Rikke Leigh) kennen, die ein kleines Hotel auf einer abgelegenen Insel betreibt. Als Matt sie aus ihrer Einöde herausholen will, stellt er jedoch fest, dass Callie dort zusammen mit ihren seltsamen Schwestern Lydia (Eloise Oliver) und Tess /Helen Rule) lebt. Plötzlich beginnen nacheinander Gäste zu verschwinden und als Dans Freund Ryan (C. Thomas Howell) aufgrund einer seltsamen Nachricht ebenfalls auf der Insel auftaucht, wird langsam klar, dass nichts ist, wie es scheint. (Lighthouse Home Entertainment)

Blood Lust is a disappointment. The title, as well as the beginning, hinted that this could be something that would nicely delve into mythology. However, the opening title scene is more interesting than everything that follows. It's a shame because there was potential here, but turning it into a weird slaughterfest just wasn't an idea that would really bring out something worthwhile. The nice but sterile visuals also don't save much.
