Deokhyeongjoo

Princess Deokhye was the last princess of the Joseon Dynasty. Daughter of Emperor Gojong, she was sent to Japan to marry a Japanese Count, and was hospitalized due to schizophrenia. Even after liberation she couldn't return to Korea, as the Lee Seung-man government feared a revival of the dynasty. She returned eventually, in 1962, and died in 1989.
