Filmed in colour, decidedly conceived in black and white, this observational documentary about the reality of a day with a group of gypsy quintuplets reveals the painful topic of Czech racism. The endless task of caring for the children, captured on camera, is accompanied by scornful comments and financial calculations by the ethnic majority that only expose their own weaknesses. Englisch To have a subject like this in hand and to screw it up so horribly by taking the most primitive route is either admirable audacity or ignorant incompetence. After the screening, it was defended to me for its emotional contrast and the possibility of using it as a topic for discussion in school. Sorry, but I'm going to spark a debate flame in elementary school with anything other than a half-hour of emptiness. ()
