Als Superheld hat man's nicht leicht. Zwar hat Pelle alias ANTBOY seinen Erzfeind den Floh hinter Gitter gebracht, doch die nächsten Superschurken lassen nicht lange auf sich warten. Die Terror-Zwillinge erweisen sich als gefährlicher denn je. Und noch jemand hat eine Rechnung mit Antboy offen: Die geheimnisvolle Red Fury will Rache an ihm nehmen. Dabei möchte Pelle doch nur etwas Zeit mit Ida verbringen ... (NFP)

I have to admit that this is much better than the first part. There, it was necessary to present the much clichéd origin story, but this is a bit darker, a bit grittier, even though it's still primarily a family film, and there are some pretty cool ideas and special effects, although, within the comic book genre, it's still nothing groundbreaking.
