Kaum zu glauben, dass die Musical-Version "Krieg der Welten“ (ja, ich weiß, wie seltsam das klingt) überhaupt nichts vorenthalten hat. Im Gegenteil – dank der zeitlosen Musik von Jeff Wayne ist eine unerwartete, neue Dimension entstanden. Sie hat aus ihm eine große Show gemacht, die Tausenden von ZuschauerInnen spielend alles vermittelt, was wir an Wells Roman bis heute so mögen. Es ist einfach der Hammer. Auch mit dem echten Tripod und mit Liam Neeson.
