La Clé de la chambre à lessive

In this sensitive and observational documentary, we are introduced to the small laundry room in an apartment building in a remote part of Lausanne, Switzerland. In the repetitive rhythm of endless house chores, here among the washing powder, hampers and constantly churning laundry machines, we peer into the lives of the mostly migrant residents and learn about their problems, big and small. They are people from different parts of the world, professing different religions and ideologies. In the meeting point of the laundry room, we witness their daily quarrels, reconciliations, simple pleasures and conversations about their sorrows and hopes. (One World)
