"I just wanted to have women, money and fancy cars. All I've got now is my hands." These are the words of the 28 year old Damian, doing time in Tarnow prison's high security cell. Sentenced for armed robberies, his only contact to the outer world are the masked prison guards bringing the daily meal and taking him for a short walk. The surroundings are cold and bleak and are constantly monitored by surveillance cameras. Shower is allowed once a week. Bad Boy gives an intimate look into prison life through video diaries and interviews. However, the omnipresent camera persistently remains on this side of the bars, in freedom. On the other side is only Damien, who is categorized as dangerous, and nobody seems to know the exact length of his sentence. This film is as coarse and plain as the life behind bars.
