Hong Kong: Um gegen illegalen Organhandel zu ermitteln, schleust sich der Undercover-Cop Kit (Wu Jing) in ein Verbrecher-Syndikat ein. Als er auffliegt, verfrachten ihn die Gangster kurzerhand in ein thailändisches Gefängnis. Dort trifft Kit auf Gefängniswärter Chai (Tony Jaa), der dringend auf der Suche nach einem Knochenmarkspender für seine Tochter ist. Es stellt sich heraus, dass Kit der passende Spender ist! Chai muss alles dafür tun, um ihn am Leben zu erhalten... Damit ist er jedoch der einzige: Sowohl der Gefängnisdirektor als auch Verbrecherboss Mr Hung wollen Kit unbedingt tot sehen! (WVG Medien)

(2015). Great action scenes. The prison fight and the (Vivaldi) finale are very well done. Hong Kong and Taiwan schools at their peak. The story revolving around illegal organ trafficking isn’t bad, but it’s confusing, with a couple of strange twists. It could have scored four stars, but some stuff is just too far-fetched. It has no connection whatsoever with part one. Tony’s Jaa is still the same old Jaa… Chop him up and throw him to the dogs.

It's not as great as the first installment, which was filmed in 2005, but the creators focused on the same thing - to bring the audience an action movie that will also have emotions. But I think it's still mainly the action side that will make you remember the film. There are fights that are rough, but at the same time choreographically fantastic.
