Galaad, a second-rate actor, joins his brother Noe, the coach of an obscure football club, at the funeral of their father. As half-brothers, they have little in common except a shared record of personal failures. Galaad interprets this situation as the result of a curse: their father, an enthusiastic adventurer and treasure hunter, should never have sold the Grail to a collector.
