Zwei junge, bildhübsche, leichtbekleidete und spaßsüchtige Amerikanerinnen sind auf Vergnügungsurlaub. Obwohl ein alter Seebär (Franco Nero) vor dem Betreten der Insel Mamula warnt, können sie es kaum erwarten, mit ihren zwei Begleitern das verlassene Inseldorf zu erkunden. Schon bald entdecken sie ein Gefängnis und den Schauplatz von grausamen Folterungen. Frisches Blut deutet auf ein dunkles Geheimnis. Als die Jugendlichen merken, dass hinter dem Grauen eine tödliche und verführerische Schönheit steht, scheint es fast zu spät, um den Klauen der Nymphe noch zu entkommen ... (Splendid Film)

No. Nonono. I’m overall willing to be magnanimous with horror films that take place both underground and in locations in Southern Europe (here, specifically, in the Bay of Kotor, in Montenegro) because I have a soft spot for them, but this one was a big, cheap (and not budget-wise), unoriginal pile of crap. Ignore.

Considering the fact that the film comes from such an exotic country and has a really sexy female cast I'd give it 4*, otherwise it's a slightly above average monster/survival flick with pretty decent gore, a tantalizing mermaid whose voice gave me goosebumps and a decent pace. Whether you're a nympho or not, it's worth it. 65%.
