In an earlier time, East Coast Spring Break pleasure seekers overran Fort Lauderdale. And for Easter Week West, busloads of teens would converge on California's desert playground for a wild Palm Spring Weekend. Troy Donahue headlines this romp as Jim Munroe, captain of the West's #1 college basketball team, in town with his buddies for a fast-break frolic of fun, sun and romance. Jim meets true love Bunny (Stefanie Powers) at a record store. Gail (Connie Stevens) falls for the wrong guy (Robert Conrad) but emerges with reputation unsullied thanks to Stretch (Ty Hardin). Team nerd Biff (Jerry Van Dyke) finds he doesn't need the "romance machine" he invented when the real thing (Zeme North) comes along. And Coach Campbell (Jack Weston) puts on a full-court press to win Naomi (Carole Cook). (Verleiher-Text)
