Jack und seine hübsche, hochschwangere Frau Vanessa ziehen in eine baufällige, als Spukhaus bekannte Villa in New Orleans. Schnell lernen die beiden einen etwas zu aufdringlichen Nachbarn kennen, der ihnen von der blutigen Geschichte des Hauses erzählt, was die beiden jedoch nicht abschreckt. Hell Baby is exactly that kind of film - there are good jokes and bad jokes, all against the backdrop of a fairly unoriginal story that aims to be new primarily through its heavy use of humor. Some scenes might entertain you, but I think you'll find yourself bored with others. However, the characters are not poorly portrayed; a character like F’resnel the neighbor is truly excellent. It reaches the average mark, at least at times.
