Eine fünf im Englischunterricht! Das kann Privatschuldirektor Balduin Bosquier (Louis de Funès) seinem Sohn Philippe (François Leccia) nicht ohne Weiteres durchgehen lassen. Kurzerhand wird dessen geplanter Bootstrip abgesagt und der Sprachurlaub nach Schottland ins Haus des Whiskymagnaten MacFarrell angeordnet. Philippe lässt indes seinen Freund Stephane (Maurice Risch) in seine Rolle schlüpfen und brennt mit MacFarrells Tochter Shirley (Martine Kelly) durch. Der Schwindel fliegt auf und der wutentbrannte Bosquier macht sich auf eine aberwitzige Verfolgungsjagd durch halb Europa. (Kinowelt)
