Porfirio

In his first feature film, Alejandro Landes enters the life of Porfirio, a man whose spine was wounded when policeman shot him, and he thus has to rely on his wheelchair and the help of his close ones. The documentary style presents the everyday anguish in a house in a poor suburb where Porfirio spends life between a bed and an armchair, and his seeking for justice is in vain. Finally, he decides to take matters in his own hands. The truthful portrait shows a man who is never willing to give up despite the extreme situation. (Febiofest)
