The Tell-Tale Heart

An average, if not slightly below-average film, which demonstrates how Edgar Allan Poe can also be interpreted, maintaining the atmosphere of his stories, yet presenting them in a somewhat modern light. If only there wasn't so much reliance on voiceover, which, in my opinion, detracts from the film's impact. It's just a small step away from being average, but that little something is missing.
